A candid summary of the risks that come with investing on Farm Fresh Capitals. Please read before you fund an account.
1. Nothing Is Guaranteed
All returns quoted on Farm Fresh Capitals are targets, not guarantees. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. You should never invest money you cannot afford to lose.
2. Capital Loss Risk
The value of any investment can go down as well as up. In adverse circumstances you may lose some or all of the capital you contribute. Diversification reduces but does not eliminate this risk.
3. Agricultural & Weather Risk
Our plans are exposed to the agricultural sector. Yields are affected by rainfall, drought, flooding, pest outbreaks, disease, crop failure, seasonal cycles, and other factors that are inherently unpredictable and beyond our control.
4. Market & Price Risk
Commodity prices, input costs (fuel, fertiliser, feed), interest rates, inflation, and the general economic environment can move against a plan and materially reduce or eliminate expected returns.
5. Liquidity Risk
Investments in specific plans are typically locked for the stated duration. Early exit may not be possible, or may be possible only at a discount to the notional value. Withdrawals are also subject to bank, blockchain, and compliance-review timeframes.
6. Operational & Technology Risk
Our platform relies on internet infrastructure, third-party providers, and code that can fail, be attacked, or be temporarily unavailable. We invest heavily in resilience but no digital service is immune to outages.
7. Counterparty & Custody Risk
Some plans involve external farm operators, payment processors, or custody providers. Failure by any counterparty can delay payouts or, in severe cases, reduce recoverable value.
8. Regulatory Risk
Financial and agricultural regulations differ across jurisdictions and can change without notice. New laws, taxes, or restrictions may affect what we can offer, how quickly we can process transactions, or the returns you can realise.
9. Currency & FX Risk
If you fund or withdraw in a currency other than the plan denomination, exchange-rate movements between the two can materially affect your realised return.
10. Fraud & Social Engineering
Bad actors may impersonate Farm Fresh Capitals staff on messaging apps, email, or phone to trick you into sharing credentials or sending funds outside the platform. Our staff will never request that you send money to any wallet, bank account, or address other than those shown inside your logged-in dashboard. When in doubt, contact us via support@farmfreshcapitals.com.
11. Tax Risk
You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes due on the returns you receive. Tax treatment depends on your jurisdiction and personal circumstances and may change over time.
12. Suitability
